All India Jamboree
All India Jamboree is organized once in every four years. It is a wonderful demonstration of national unity. The first Indian Jamboree was held at Worli, Bombay in December 1927. Dr. Annie Besant and Lord Irwin, Viceroy of India were among the distinguished visitors to this Jamboree. The Second Indian Jamboree was organized at Delhi in February 1937 where the Lord and Lady Baden Powell came from London to attend this jamboree.
Special Centenary National Jamboree
The Special Centenary Jamboree will be held at Calcutta, West Bengal State from 2nd January 2007 to 9th January 2007. This is also the Centenary Celebration Jamboree. An invitation has bear extended by the West Bengal State to participate in the Jamboree.
The Bharat Scouts and Guides Andhra Pradesh State is hosting the Second Mini Jamboree from 5th December 2006 to 9th December 2006 at State Training and Camping Centre, Jeedimetla Hyderabad for Southern State. This is the first time that the A.P. State Association is hosting the Mini Jamboree conducted by the National Headquarters. Shri Rameshwar Thakur, H.E. The Governor of Andhra Pradesh is Inaugurating the Jamboree on 6th December 2006.
